Favorites from our McFeeds #1
Our five favorite posts from our deep social media scouring, with a sprinkling of takes on each, but don't worry, nothing too serious.
Five takes from our social media feeds this week:
1. BravoCon
Learned about BravoCon this week, which started in 2019 and had (wait for it) **30,000 attendees** in 2022. The fan conference is happening again in 2023 in Vegas, and looks like ticket prices average $500 each.
As entertainment companies retreat from the “steaming is the future" strategy, live events and IP opportunities like this seem like the next wave.
2. Spotlight Effect
Most people (me included) worry too much about how others perceive them. Worried about looking like: “Enough about me, what do you think about me?”
Turns out, everyone is too into themselves to worry too much about you. So don’t sweat it. Loved this take from Sahil on giving this conundrum a name and calling it out.

3. Daily What-Ifs
Soren Iverson is a great daily follow on Twitter - he posts imagined product/UI features every single day.
4. Friends You Knew When
You just love it when your friends and colleagues win. We knew them when. Shoutout to Michael Engleman and Puja Vohra on their new roles in the Paramount multiverse.
5. Introverts
I’m no introvert but the ones in my family and the ones on my team say this is *accurate*
Hope you enjoyed. What did we miss?
